EQUINE PROGRAMS

The foundation's equine programs provide a beautiful setting for hope, encouragement, and happiness for people to experience a better life. Many of our rescue horses encounter the full circle by first receiving help from our rescue, and in turn, are now helping people realize their full potential.

Big Brothers & Big Sisters Program
The Hogan Family Foundation is supporting Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Ventura County by providing children and their mentors an equine experience to enrich their lives.  Through encouraging guidance, recreation, and support we are dedicated to making a positive impact in their lives.

Horses on The Homefront Riding Program
The Horses on the Homefront riding program is designed to benefit the Ventura County children of deployed active duty military personnel. The program is designed to teach the children basic horse care and handling, as well as, beginning riding lessons that provide them with the foundation skills of good horsemanship. ARC
The foundation is working with ARC, people with developmental disabilities, to provide a therapeutic equine experience for their clients in a serene, beautiful setting. Many of ARC's clients have realized the benefits of our equine program and have shown significant improvements.
